Danforth Yachting is situated at Cape Maclear bordering Lake Malawi National Park. Surrounded by islands, it is one of the most beautiful locations on this magnificent lake. The Lodge
The lodge has eight en-suite, air-conditioned rooms, tastefully decorated in cool, nautical colours and all opening onto a large patio. All rooms have spectacular views of the lake and look out over Thumbi West Island. The garden has shady lawns, leading to the sparkling, beach side, infinity swimming pool. Moored just a stone’s throw away is the luxury yacht ‘Mufasa’. Danforth Yachting operates on a ‘full board’ basis which includes three delicious meals each day, plus teas, coffees, cakes and snacks.

Mufasa
Mufasa is a fully equipped and crewed ocean going catamaran, which sleeps eight guests in comfort and style. The layout includes two bathrooms, four double cabins, 2 crew berths, saloon, galley, cockpit under shade bimini and a dive platform. Mufasa is the only ocean-going, live-aboard yacht on Lake Malawi. There are several sailing itineraries to choose from which can be tailored to suit the guests’ needs. These itineraries are flexible and dependent on weather and wind conditions.
