Full Day Trip to Dedza Pottery & Rock Arts

This tour will take us to Dedza – a1 and ½ hour drive South of Lilongwe. Dedza Mountain looms majestically over the plains and being on the edge of the Rift Valley escarpment offers outstanding views of Lake Malawi. Our visit will include an excursion into the foothills where we will see ancient rock art as done by the Bushmen in the late stone age, then we continue to Dedza Pottery craft and coffee shop, well known for its cheesecake served in a delightful garden setting.
Lunch will be enjoyed in this peaceful setting and after we will drive up Dedza Mountain to take in the wonderful views, before returning back to Lilongwe. Tour done in a Toyota Corolla or similar
Itinerary – Depart Lilongwe at 08.30 - Arrive back in Lilongwe at 17.30.
Tour price includes – Transport to Dedza, return, services of guide throughout, 3 X bottles of water provided per person, Services of rock art guide.
