Clothing and Packing List:-
- Shorts, t/shits etc are the norm. Please ensure your clothing is a "neutral colour" for game viewing
- If Climbing Mulanje, please ensures your shoes / boots are comfortable and you have used them before.
- Bring a warm tracksuit and a warm jumper / wind cheater - it can get cold in July through to September on the morning game drives or high plateaux. Bring a towel & costume.
- Sun cream, hat and dark glasses is recommended.
- Mosquitoes are active as the sun goes down so bring an insect repellent to ensure you do not get bitten during this time. The Winter months [June through to November] is low malaria risk but it is still recommended that you take precautions. [Please consult your doctor]
- You cannot buy film in Luangwa so bring enough to last and spare camera batteries are useful
- Binoculars, a small torch and lightweight water bottle may also come in handy.
- If you are on any prescribed medication please bring enough to last.
- Your passport, visa [if applicable] and return airticket [or proof of funds] to get you back home
General Info:-
- Yellow fever certificates are required to enter into Zambia. You are responsible to ensure yours is valid and available for inspection.
- If you require a visa to enter into Malawi - you are reminded that you will again require one to re enter Malawi after your safari. Please therefore ensure you have a double entry visa for Malawi
- Picnic lunches will be provided en route on all our safaris.
- There will be boiled and filtered water available in the vehicle, however if you prefer bottled water, this can be purchased in advance.
- Please do complete the evaluation card and hand it to your guide or in at the office after your safari - your comments are valued and we are able to monitor our service..
Insurance
We insits that all guests have travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment and medical emergencies. Your insurance broker or travel agent will assist you. This service is not available from Land and Lake Safaris in Malawi.
