Land & Lake Safaris is the regions oldest, most respected and leading operator, offering quality tours and services since 1986.  We operate wildlife safaris, sightseeing tours, cultural experiences, make hotel and lodge reservations, car hire, transfers and offer valuable travel advice. We are passionate about travel and pride ourselves in having the most diverse tours and services available. All Land and Lake Guides are employed on a full time basis, are qualified professionals and have gone through detailed intensive training programmes [locally as well as in UK and Tanzania] including first aid training and defensive driving courses. Our reservations staff have over 15 years service each and there is little they do not know about Malawi and Zambia. Our Social responsibility projects includes, amongst others - Dzalanyama School , the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, the community in Mfuwe Area of Luangwa Valley and wildlife conservation in Zambia.

All our vehicles are specially custom built for the job and have -  

• Forward facing seats,
• Large windows for optimal viewing
• All cars have air conditioning
• All cars have a roof rack and tow trailers for your luggage which leaves the inside of the vehicle uncluttered for you.                                                                           

Naturally aspirated diesel engine; uses fuel extremely economically allowing us to decrease our tour fees. All vehicles have two diesel tanks, ensuring that even on the most adventurous safari and most remote areas – you never have to worry about running out of fuel.

Each vehicle is equipped with fire extinguishes and first aid boxes and our vehicles are also sent for a road worthy tests twice a year.  We understand that there are several options available to you when choosing your African safari.
