Day 1: - Meet at the Land and
Lake Office at 0830 in the morning. [A free collection service is
offered to clients in Lilongwe]. Depart Lilongwe at 0900 to Zambian
Border. After completing immigration formalities it's a 3hr drive along
a dirt road to Luangwa Valley. A picnic lunch is served en route and
ETA at the lodge is early afternoon. Dinner is served overlooking the
river and watching the animals as they come down to drink.
Day 2 & 3: - After early morning refreshments, we aim to be on our first game drive as the sun rises. All game drives are undertaken in specially modified safari vehicles,
to optimise your pleasure and experience. Drinks and snacks are taken
along for your enjoyment whilst in the park. Depending on game
sightings, we return to the lodge at 11 for a scrumptious "brunch". An
afternoon rest then we again head out for our afternoon / night drive
at around 1600 - returning to the lodge at 20H00, using a
powerful spotlight to spot the infrequently seen nocturnal creatures.
Day 4:
- After a leisurely start to the morning and a full breakfast, we
return to Lilongwe, stopping at the tribal textiles workshop -- a
community cultural workshop producing stunning ethnically designed
garments and fabrics [Please note--depending
on vehicle movements we may visit this workshop during the midday break
the previous day if required]. A picnic lunch is served en route and
ETA in Lilongwe 1500. A free drop off service is offered in Lilongwe
