Arrive in the bustling commercial capital of Malawi, Blantyre!

We take slow and liesurely drives through Malawi, stopping off at the markets, museums and view points as we go. We'll taste some of the local foods and also relax in the gardens of some of Malawi's most favored cafes.

Head out for walks across the plateau to catch the breathtaking views of Malawi below, with exceptional birding, hiking and cycling routes. 

From the quaint and historic Zomba town, we meander our way up to Liwonde National Park for a night under the stars. We'll set up a "Glamp" site and explore the region by foot, boat and game drive. Enjoy camp cooking with Amelia as she whips up fresh and delicious meals throughout your stay in the wilderness. 

We'll then make our way to Lake Malawi and catch a boat to Malawi's little "Castaway" experience on an island in Cape Maclear. Enjoy a kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, swimming and even book yourself a massage from the mainland to treat yourself.

We'll then make our way up to Lilongwe for a stop at the Land & Lake Cafe and then on to Dzalanyama Forest Lodge. Dzalanyama has become a big project center for Amelia and Tanith and we'll sink into the miombo woodland, explore village life in an unstaged visit and check out the bakery, local brewery and see if the Kachere Choir are singing. 

We'll eventually say farewell to you in Lilongwe where you're free to continue your journey to other places around Malawi or head into Zambia, or head home with memories to last a lifetime!
