Born from the experience of Land & lake Safaris, Overland & Lake Safaris brings over 40 years of African expertise to the world of self-drive travel. Since 1986, our family operated business has guided travelers across some of the most remote and rewarding corners of Central Africa.
Along the way, we've learned every shortcut, scenic route, hidden gem and practical lesson that only comes from life on the road. That experience shapes what we do - From meticulously maintained vehicles and fully equipped camping setups to expert route advice and dependable support when you need it most.

Our Vehicles, Workshop and Offices are located in the Capital City of Malawi - Lilongwe
But that does not mean you're restricted to travelling just around the Warm Heart of Africa.
Our vehicles are able to cross borders and we prepare your documents for you in advance.
We charge an additional insurance extension per day outside of Malawi.
