Why this tour?
This adventurous journey takes you to some of Zambias most special and remote locations. We travel loaded with all the camping gear and food, a chef and the kitchen sink. South Luangwa National Park is highlighted globally - "The Valley of the leopard" and its sister park North Luangwa is a journey through the newly highlighted Nsefu Sector and the little known wilderness of Luambe. Following the laungwa River northwards, we cross dry river beds, pontoons, through remote villages and winding dirt trails into the heart of the African Wilderness.
Get involved in setting up camp, camp fire cooking and searching for animals as we let our hair down and become Wild Women!
The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lilongwe and settle in for a tour briefing & dinner
Day 2: Head across to Zambia and set up camp in the Nsefu Sector
Day 3: Game drive through Sefu up to Luambe and set up camp on the banks of the Luangwa River
Day 4: Drive through remote villages to North Luangwa, cross the pontoon into the park
Day 5 & 6: Enjoy the next days traveling between camps and exploring North Luangwa on foot and by vehicle
Day 7: Make our way back to Luambe and overnight for our last camping spot!
Day 8: Head to South Luangwa National Park and enjoy all meals and activities with a lodge
Day 9: Explore South Luangwa National Park
Day 10: Fly out of Mfuwe airport or extend your stay!
